Unlike most software vendors, we have years of direct experience from both sides of the fence in the run-up phases of software delivery and in the back-end support for large-scale implementations. The road to successful implementations is littered with the bleached bones of mistakes we've made along the way. So to that end, we've developed our own hard-won methodology designed to enable a successful end-to-end experience.

Among the processes we've developed to support our key deliverables are the Customer Engagement ModelHoneycomb Software Delivery Model, our Project Management Methodology and our Testing and QA Methodology. All of which combine industry best practice standards with our own experiences.
Customize if necessary

Although we built the FocalPoint Compensation System with maximum flexibility in mind, we also understand that "everybody does it differently", even if only by degree. Special orders don't upset us. Nor will they upset you as we apply simplicity of design and delivery methods that have been proven in the field and at a cost that often surprises our clients. Talk to any of our customers (yes, any of them), and they will confirm that we consistently deliver on price, functionality and reliability for any changes that may be required.
End-user experience

Bells & whistles. Low cost. These objectives mean nothing if the intended user-base won't use the tools. This is often because they have little input up-front, which we have sought from the beginning. But it could also be because the tool either does not make the task easier or becomes a major headache to use. We built the FocalPoint Compensation System with the user in mind as well as providing enough depth of functionality to support very complex Compensation and Incentive programs.
Self-sufficiency

We don't believe in delivering software that has an umbilical cord attached. What if you need minor changes to reflect a new policy? Or you need to integrate a new acquisition? Often this may require the software vendor to come back and quote for price and timeline delivery which you didn't plan for. Although it's difficult to account for every situation, we believe that we've covered the most common ones with perhaps the most flexible applications in our industry.
